There are two ways to pass on
your registration and your payment

(The form is used for the registration form and the payment simultaneously.)

 It’s an online course purchase so you have to:

– on the 1st page indicate the total amount to be paid
– on the 2nd page beware of the small basket on the top right = click on the number 1

– register your personal information, your information $$ and
– Important in the NOTE box the number of your course choice (s)
– AND IF YOU REGISTER YOUR CHILD  OR ANY OTHER PERSON: NAME

You have to do it in 2 steps

 – Step 1 : Print and complete the form with the pen or complete it online and print it
– Step 2 : You will have to attach your payment by check

– Important to write the number of your course choise(s) on your check
– AND IF YOU REGISTER YOUR CHILD OR ANY OTHER PERSON: NAME

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.     REGISTRATION

The student must complete the registration form and make full payment for the entire session before the beginning of courses.

The registration is considered official and complete, only when the Maison des Arts Rive-Sud (MARS) has received the registration form and full payment for the entire course or workshop.

Upon registering, the student becomes a member of the Maison des Arts Rive-Sud, which gives him/her  the right to vote at the annual general meeting.  A fee of ].00 is included in the cost of course  registration for this purpose.

1.1- PAYMENT:  METHODS OF PAYMENT, CURRENCY:

Several methods of payment are offered: by cash or by cheque, and since August 2018, payments by debit card or credit card via the MARS website, are now accepted. During transactions made with debit or credit cards, the MARS ensures client information confidentiality and the system is protected by Moneris (Bank of Montreal). These transactions are coded and secure.

All payments must be made in full, for the total amount due.

All payments must be made in Canadian dollars.

When a registration is made by cheque, the MARS will deposit the personal cheques only after the first course or the workshop.

2.     WHEN A COURSE IS FULL:  TRANSFER OR CANCELLATION AND REIMBURSEMENT

2.1.-FULL COURSE

When a course is full, students registering afterwards, will then be advised and given the possibility of transferring their registration to another course or of receiving a total reimbursement.   

2.2-CANCELLATION BY THE MAISON DES ARTS RIVE-SUD

The Maison des Arts Rive-Sud reserves the right to cancel a course, conference or workshop if there is an insufficient number of registrations. The MARS will refund the total cost (registration plus any materials if required) by cheque via the mail. No fee will be withheld.

If a course is cancelled due to poor weather, a holiday or for a professor’s absence, the MARS will offer a make-up course or provide a substitute teacher.

2.3- CANCELLATION BY THE STUDENT

2.3.1- Before the 1st course

The MARS will refund the total amount sent (registration plus any materials if required) by returning a cheque via the mail.  No fee will be withheld.

If the student has paid the amount by cheque to the MARS, the refund can be made either by a cheque from the MARS or the student’s cheque can be destroyed by a shredder.

2.3.2- After the 1st course

Reimbursement of the courses not taken, less 10% of this refundable amount as an administration fee.

3.    CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

3.1-Confidentiality

SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The present policy applies to activities of the Maison des Arts Rive-Sud and relates to all of the members of the Board of Administration, the professors, the coordinating staff, and when required, those people given responsibility during activities organized by the MARS.

CODE OF CONDUCT – MANAGEMENT OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Maison des Arts Rive-Sud is committed to :

3.1.1– use personal information provided in the registration process for its organizational requirements only, whether for the management of attendance lists, for the production of receipts or for personal correspondence purposes.

3.1.2- not conserve any personal file.  The registration sheets are destroyed after two years.

3.1.3- not transmit any personal information received during registration to any third party whether for publicity or other purposes, except with the explicit permission of the student.

3.2-Security
The Maison des Arts Rive-Sud is committed to ensure a safe and efficient  operation regarding the funds received.

3.2.1- The payments by debit or credit card will be dealt with by Moneris (https://www.moneris.com).

3.2.2- Moneris will deposit directly the amounts received to the Bank of Montreal (https://www.bmo.com).

3.2.3-  The daily financial operations are the responsibility of the Treasurer, duly named by the Board of Administration.

3.2.4- The annual financial statements are duly revised by a recognized accounting firm, then adopted by the Board of Administration and deposited at the Annual General Meeting.
